The information age has made visible what lurked hidden inside the human mind ever since the beginning. The above ways of manifestation you list, are in my opinion nothing new, simply enriched by the transfer of visibility. Now secularism sports suport by means of clicks and views. Not reason, simply an impulse, a vote of yes or no.

Even the shade of religion, produced powerful artwork. When you remove the meaning of life, its pain, death and more, you get a life of calculation. Humanity has been voting for its preferences in life and I say who are we to challenge this choice, if God himself allows it. If God deals with the few, knowing the many have no value, I see history and its cloacks of authority changing from one robe to the other simply people voting for what they like. No intervention from God because it doesn't matter evidently. Christ was the intervention. If people don't want Him, they have choice. Live your numbered years under the sun. What hurts for those of us sharing this century is that even though God has been in the minds of men from the dawn of time and will be in every future generation the majority are stuck into the fine arts, intelligence, knowledge, and making every possible scenario of what life could be, except accepting what the simple one is, God made. Those who have accepted this fail by wanting power using faith as a podium, creating thus theocracies that I don't read anywhere in the Bible as needed for human conversion.

We sure keep ourselves busy in every century, believing everything and anything, but the simplicity shown by sacrifice.
